Single & Single Parent Ministry

The mission of the Singles and Single Parent Ministry of RCC follows the same mission set down by the leadership and corporate Body of RCC: "To seek the lost and strengthen the saved."As a ministry, we will do this through Worship Proclamation Education Ministry and Fellowship.

OUR GOALS:

To be an inviting haven – to be a safe place of encouragement, fellowship and support.
To understand our singleness in light of scripture.
To embrace our singleness as a gift and to embrace the Giver of the gift.
To emphasize wholeness of the single life in Christ.
To encourage singles who are trusting God for a mate to begin a period of preparation as well as to affirm singles who have no desire to be married.
To draw the unsaved by discussing items that are pertinent to all singles, regardless of the state of their souls, with the express intent of making the unsaved “thirsty” to come to saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.
To partner with other singles’ ministries of like faith and mission.
To promote an atmosphere that we would become men and women who can celebrate and live in the fullness of their singleness through a strong relationship with the Lord and with other brothers and sisters in Christ.

OUR STRATEGY:

To meet on the second Wednesday of each month for a time of studying the Word in light of our singleness.
Social activities suitable for Christian participation.
Support and participation in areas of ministry in our local church.
Corporate body involvement
Host/promote seminars, retreats.
